Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy or use a website from SiteMaker. Please read them before paying. By placing an order you accept them.
What you get
A five-section website built from a template you choose, personalised with your business name, text, photos, colours and fonts, published at a free web address of the form yourbusiness.mysitemaker.in.
Price is ₹5,999, paid once. There is no recurring subscription for this product.
What “lifetime hosting” means
Your website is hosted free of charge on a mysitemaker.in subdomain, for as long as SiteMaker operates the service. It specifically does not include:
- A custom domain name. You buy and renew that yourself from a domain registrar.
- Email hosting on your domain.
- Any guarantee that SiteMaker will operate indefinitely.
If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice and a downloadable copy of your website files so you can host them elsewhere.
What you can and cannot change
You can change your colour scheme, font pairing, all text, all photos, your services or menu, and your contact details.
You cannot change the template layout, section order, number of sections, spacing or animations. These are fixed, which is what makes a ₹5,999 website possible. If you need a different structure, that is our Custom Website service, from ₹7,999.
Redesigns and updates
- 3 free redesigns are included. A redesign rebuilds your site from your saved details.
- After that, changes cost ₹1,000 per update request, actioned within 48 hours.
- A build that fails due to our systems never consumes a free redesign.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you give us — your text, your photos, your logo. You grant us permission to publish it on the website we build for you.
You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload. Do not upload photos you do not own. If we receive a credible complaint that content on your site infringes someone’s rights, we may remove that content.
We own the template designs, the underlying code and the SiteMaker platform. Buying a website does not transfer ownership of the template itself.
Acceptable use
You may not use a SiteMaker website to:
- Break Indian law, or sell anything illegal.
- Mislead people about who you are or what you sell.
- Publish adult content, hate speech, or content that harasses anyone.
- Distribute malware, or run phishing or fraud.
We may suspend a site that breaches these terms, without a refund.
Delivery time
Websites are generated automatically and are usually live within minutes. We commit to within 24 hours to allow for failures needing manual attention.
Payments and tax
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST where we are registered to charge it.
Refunds
Set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: full refund before your site is built, none after.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question.
We are not liable for lost business, lost profit, or loss arising from your website being temporarily unavailable.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email. Continuing to use the service after that counts as acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
